Basketball is a fantastic way for students to stay active, build confidence and make new friends. With the sport being one of Cammeraygal High School’s most popular programs, it’s a great time to encourage your child to get involved and experience the fun and teamwork that come with playing basketball. In 2026, 215 students are playing across 22 teams, competing year round in the Northern Suburbs Basketball Association (NSBA) competition, which runs across two fast paced seasons each year:

Season one  - February to June

Season two -  July to December.

This season, all Year 7 games have been played at Galuwa Recreation Centre, North Sydney Boys High School, North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre, Redland school Dunnett Hall, or Willoughby Leisure Centre, with NSBA managing all draws and scheduling. The program welcomes girls and boys of every ability and is powered by a dedicated team of passionate parent volunteers who love supporting our players and appreciate help of any kind.
